love, love, love this story for two reasons:
1-"I have no one to put me in the pool when the water is stirred up.." -typical of our excuses to God
2-Jesus said, "Stand up. Take up your mat and walk." -like he hadn't tried that before. Jesus called him to trust over listening to his feelings. do you think he felt differently when Jesus asked him to stand? probably not.
