Hebrews 12-13; Jude

How so quickly do I go from humble….dependent and soft to freaking annoyed ‘know it all’…???..and you know it happens, when it happens I really am surprised because I don’t even ‘feel’ annoyed or do I???…..I feel an urgency ....and I guess that translates into annoyance…??
I feel compelled to speak the truth in love but I guess it’s tinged with an annoyance……I guess……

I want to speak the truth in LOVE without annoyance…but what makes me think I KNOW the truth huh??

So while I am sorry for the annoyance I am not sorry for speaking the words, for the emotion that I thought I felt behind it…….so maybe I need to just be sorry???

Hebrews 12: 2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

12: 28 (NIV) Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, 29 for our "God is a consuming fire."

So….the compelling……YOU are consuming me?? And in the being consumed with my eyes on Jesus I KNOW it is not about me…..but how long do I actually stay focused on Jesus…..??
What a journey……an amazing rollercoaster ride of emotions and ‘feelings’ and a coming to KNOW......BUT.... to... in the emotion…in the ‘compelling’….realize……remember it’s not about ME….it’s perhaps not about me speaking or IF I do speak trust that YOU no matter how annoyed I may sound will do what YOU will do…..
I don’t know…..but I do know that IF I fix my eyes on Him………that WHEN I fix my eyes on Him HE does amazing things……

Hebrews 12: 20 May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, 21 equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
