1 Samuel 19; 1 Chronicles 7; Psalm 59; Matthew 4

Tony offers a great prayer and opportunity to join our voices and hearts with regards to yesterdays tragedy in Virginia.

I am just tired and I wonder why I blog.
I read the blogs of people who HATE the church and of others who LOVE it and they both love Jesus….I am just tired of trying to figure anything out. IF we loved Jesus wouldn’t we all love the same things…no that’s stupid I guess. It’s just so hard to sort it out and maybe I’m not supposed to ?? But IF we don’t in some commonality come together what happens to those who don’t LOVE Jesus and HATE the church…….

Did Jesus LOVE the church??

Ahh...it's NOT for me to figure out....Matthew 4: 19 "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will send you out to fish for people." 20 At once they left their nets and followed him.

Thank you for sharing your journey Becky. It's scary to search and it's scary to share. I often wonder why I blog, but there's something theraputic about it for me.

When I start trying to figure everything out I always get confused, problem is I let the confusion stop the searching. Don't try to see the big picture all at once, it's overwhelming, just pick away at one little piece at time. Keep on keeping on.

I love the pics you have for this post and the next...
As for the prayer..and the question Did Jesus love the church? :)
Yes, he loved the church..His entire plan of creation, death and resurrection was to expand the fellowship between the Father and the Son by bringing a peer into their midst..a woman a bride, the Church..The Son is the outraying and purpose of the Father and She- His Bride is the outraying and purpose of the Son...He did not die for us..He died to have a Her...why do we think God said "it is not good for man to be alone" He knew what it was like to be alone..and He didn't like it...He/They needed a Her...Yes, He loves the church...
