1 Chronicles 22 - 24; 1 Thessalonians 3

1 Thessalonians 3: 2 We sent Timothy, who is our brother and God's fellow worker in spreading the gospel of Christ, to strengthen and encourage you in your faith, 3 so that no one would be unsettled by these trials. You know quite well that we were destined for them.
1 Thessalonians 3: 12 May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you. 13 May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones.

And David tells his son Solomon….well he tells the leaders of Israel re; the support of his son as king…..1st Chronicles 22: 19 Now devote your heart and soul to seeking the LORD your God. Begin to build the sanctuary of the LORD God, so that you may bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD and the sacred articles belonging to God into the temple that will be built for the Name of the LORD."
These verses encourage me today. Not that I particularly need encouragement today just in looking at where I’ve been and where I’m headed…....
you know IF life is a journey to want what God wants more than anything I feel as though I just pulled out of a rest area…Kauai... and in the rest there is a renewed heart for the journey.
Kind of like when you are on a long trip driving say…all nite and you pull off and just rest……and then you take off again headed in the same direction but with a NEW view of the goal / destination and in the traveling with that vision even though it seems a long way off you’re still excited to be on the way.
So where are you this morning….on the journey??
I pray for all of us headed on the road to wanting what HE wants more than anything to encourage each other and keep our eyes out and open for those who may need even MORE encouragement or direction. Please let me know how I can pray for you...encourage you.

I'm at an interesting crossroads in life and since of all life corresponds with the Journey - I'd say its almost like going back to my "roots" but the difference is that I have changed a lot and it will be new.

that makes no sense but it will later....
