1 Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the desert, 2 where for forty days he was tempted by the devil. He ate nothing during those days, and at the end of them he was hungry.
3The devil said to him, "If you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread."
4Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone.'[a]"
5 The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. 6 And he said to him, "I will give you all their authority and splendor, for it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. 7 So if you worship me, it will all be yours."
8 Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.'[b]"
9 The devil led him to Jerusalem and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. "If you are the Son of God," he said, "throw yourself down from here. 10For it is written:

to guard you carefully; 11 they will lift you up in their hands,

14 Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside. 15He taught in their synagogues, and everyone praised him.
‘full of’ , ‘led by’, ‘in the power of the spirit’
Jesus knew loneliness, knew temptation…..God is ahead of us, has our backs and looks to us to live in His spirit…..protected and loved, forgiven and looking for us to in that forgiveness forgive…..standing in the nakedness PROTECTED…..simple and yet hard, like most of the journey and what if I just KNEW that for always…….lived like I really KNEW THAT.

So just for today, in every moment of every decision remembering THAT. Not protected like a rare flower needing special tending and attention only growing in the hyper conditions of a hot house, 
not in a museum with conditions that stifle any kind of deterioration, not like a scientific experiment with controlled stimulus to check for a chemical reaction, not like a ……like a child in the best family with a fully attentive Father raising us to be loved and loving….like a sheep in His flock fully protected.

I needed this - I am not doing this, living in the Spirit - I've got to get back to it, to Him, the real deal. The self is not cuttin' it.
Unlike a hothouse, the safey is an inner protection. Satan is defeated in Christ's devotion and obedience to his Father and in his intimacy with the Scriptures. Jesus didn't rely on theatrics, charm, or assurances to the public that his actions were appropriate. The unshakeableness of his love toward God could only be seen by God. This is the example Christ set for those who would be his disciples.
