Open Hands

18:17 I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.
A child receives w/gratitude and gladness
A child receives w/awe
A child receives w/open little hands.

A child, receives w/gratitude and pleasure and trust and faith that what they will receive in open trusting hands is GOOD….To a child even a gloppy mess of shaving cream is the world!
A fit in the corner cannot receive anything, too LOUD, screaming for what I WANT, to receive anything.

It’s, the gospel…It is really so deep and complex in it’s simplicity that if we don’t receive it we can literally talk ourselves out of it. It cannot be fully comprehended it has to be accepted?? Received?? It is so profound in it’s simplicity…so simple it IS profound.
Can you have FAITH and INTELLIGENCE??
  • Intelligence = the ability to learn or understand or to deal with new or trying situations
  • Wisdom = making the best use of knowledge, experience, understanding
  • Knowledge= the fact or condition of knowing something with familiarity gained through experience or association.

Intelligence w/o wisdom would be lonely. ...

I so hunger for that simplicity of faith. But we have complicated our lives beyond what God intended for us. Thanks for the reminder.
