1 Chronicles 16; Psalm 106; Matthew 19

Psalm 106:43-45 Many times he delivered them,
but they were bent on rebellion
and they wasted away in their sin.
But he took note of their distress
when he heard their cry;
for their sake he remembered his covenant
and out of his great love he relented

The wording is so specific and yet until - until .....there is no understanding...delivery comes
The God of the universe hears....
But I am bent on rebellion- again, the whole of 'doing what is right in my own eyes'.....
bent on rebellion - never satisfied...no more than that....or as simple as that??? feeling entitled...the spirit of entitlement....??

In never being satisfied there is so much destruction...so much wasting away...feeling trapped and bound by, all that I want , rather than free and grateful by and for what I have...part of being unbound is gratitude??
No, even someone who doesn't believe in God in Jesus can and is grateful...the freedom comes from KNOWING where it comes from...KNOWING where it comes from creates more depth of thought...?...
In depth of thought is the realization of my own rebellion and HE hears - He sees - He takes note of my distress and out of his great love.....JESUS....a life in Christ...a life in becoming...a life of the Holy Spirit renovating my heart...... I feel freer than I ever have, ever knew I could be.....noone had me trapped I was bent on rebellion and now......forgiven.......I am free to ........

Matthew 19: Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there.
Matthew 19: 26 Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."'
Like a child looking to my Abba Father I can .........I can fly with my Abba Father......just like my Granddaughter here is flying trusting in her Daddy my SIL.......depth of thought brings realization and in the realization comes a humbling and in the humbling comes.......FLYING....!

Great post, AMAZING picture. What a way to tie in all together. I can relate to spiritual rebellion, that is part of my spiritual history...but God knows my heart and He knows how to challenge me and bring me back to Him.
