Proverbs 16-19; Romans 12

Romans 12: 4-6In this way we are like the various parts of a human body. Each part gets its meaning from the body as a whole, not the other way around. The body we're talking about is Christ's body of chosen people. Each of us finds our meaning and function as a part of his body. But as a chopped-off finger or cut-off toe we wouldn't amount to much, would we? So since we find ourselves fashioned into all these excellently formed and marvelously functioning parts in Christ's body, let's just go ahead and be what we were made to be, without enviously or pridefully comparing ourselves with each other, or trying to be something we aren't

What I know or 'think' I know has to drop like a stone into my heart........breaking it into doing what I know I need to do....

That thot yesterday just resonated in and with me.....and today is the same......a broken obedient heart that's what I'm praying for.....

Check him out.....

"a broken obedient heart"...I like this, Becky.

How nice it would be to turn away from our fiesty-ness, to turn from our restlessness...but it would seem this is how He meets many of us...if we were comfortable, would we care to seek Him at all?

This goes right along with being poor in spirit, we should only be comforted by the Lord. Broken hearted and poor in spirit. Thank you for the reminder...and the prayers..
