I’m sure glad I am surrendering a lot into the mystery of who YOU are….blood and oil ……a lot of blood on things, on people (earlobes and toes) and I just don’t understand…..the sacrifice Christ made, his bleeding all over humanity for me, for us…I don’t understand and yet I grab onto it and believe it…..What an awesome, indefinable, uncontainable, unimaginable…..absolutely amazing God…
Not for me to understand…
Not for me to try to contain or explain or make any kind of excuses for…
Not for me to do anything but follow…..
Not for me to be afraid of and yet be awed by…
So much not for me and yet EVERYTHING for me...…..
Acts 15: 8 God, who knows the heart, showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as he did to us. 9 He made no distinction between us and them, for he purified their hearts by faith. 10 Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of the disciples a yoke that neither we nor our fathers have been able to bear? 11 No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are."

Amen...and how true, blood and oil, covering up, just following, all true...yet we get in the way, how we get in the way and think we know better, try to shed the blood that covers us, forgetting the annointing oil...I too love the pic!
so good becky so very good. Am amzing incredible God who does have a lot of mystery!!! All we can do is seek and follow knowing we will never completely understand and dont need too!!!! He is enough so thankful i found you as a fllow journeyer!!!
struggling with grace too these days.. trying to "grab onto it and believe it" as well.
