Judges 4 & 5; Psalm 39 & 41; 1 Corinthians 13

1 Corinthians 13: 12 We don't yet see things clearly. We're squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won't be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We'll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us!
13 But for right now, until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward that consummation: Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly.
And the best of the three is love.

As I was reading this this morning I had a picture in my mind of a milkweed. A very common weed where I am from, dusty and dirty at the side of the road but when the time is right it bursts forth with these beautiful little seeds of fluff. Going where the wind blows it . Maybe that’s what’s happening inside this ugly weed there is love growing… The point of the journey is to want what God wants MORE than anything…and in wanting that I am being driven to see what He wants is LOVE. So maybe inside me is growing LOVE and when the time is right it’s gonna burst forth and go where He blows it…..

Great analogy....enjoyed the pictures!

Trust, hope, love.....sometimes that is all we can do....
