1 Chronicles 25-27; 1 Thessalonians 4

Help me out here, I am ‘almost’ sure I hear Him say…..’move to Kauai…..’

1 Thessalonians 4: 11-12 (msg) Stay calm; mind your own business; do your own job. You've heard all this from us before, but a reminder never hurts. We want you living in a way that will command the respect of outsiders, not lying around sponging off your friends.

oops wait a minute I think it was clearer in a different translation……

1 Thess. 4: 11 (tniv) and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you, 12 so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody.

There it is you see it right??? Live a quiet life….Kauai was so quiet, we could collect a few chickens (didja know they CHICKENS and ROOSTERS are all over the island) and raise them and collect their eggs…….you see it right??? ‘move to Kauai’….?

I think it says that too. My husband and I were talking about this subject last night. The fact that life is so busy some months and I just feel some days that it would be better to be somewhere quieter, with less technology and who knows what else.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. It was a nice surprise to see your comment. I thought I would quickly drop by to say hi, as I haven't been commenting nearly as much the past month.

Blessings to you as this week continues along the way ;D!

Yeah, Becky, I think that is EXACTLY what was meant by that verse of Thessalonians. I'd start packing if I was you...
