Proverbs 13 - 15; Romans 11

Romans 11: 33 - 36
Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out!
"Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor?"
"Who has ever given to God, that God should repay him?"
For from him and through him and to him are all things.
To him be the glory forever! Amen.

The truth is there are a million steps and we don’t even know what the steps are, and worse, at any given moment we may not be willing or even able to take them, and still worse, they are different for you and me and they are always changing. I have come to believe the sooner we find this truth BEAUTIFUL (emphasis mine), the sooner we will fall in love with the God who keeps shaking things up, keeps changing the path, keeps rocking the boat to test our faith in Him, teaching us not to rely on easy answers, bullet points, magic mantras or genies. Personally I was miserable before I understood these ideas……Taken from Searching for God Knows What by Donald Miller

Well said.

We keep looking for a system to solve our problems on earth, but God is spirit.

Sounds familar.

That is one of my favorite books and favorite quotes. It's hard to do that though when that's what you faith has been made up of all your life. The challenge comes when God doesn't fit in our "box" anymore.

Odd, I read this scripture today before I read your blog...and I'm currently reading the book on recommendation from Smitty.
